This video shows you STEP BY STEP on how to upgrade the SSD of an early 2015 MacBook Air to a 1TB nvme SSD, however, this method should also work for the MacBook Pro.
However, this upgrade works up till 2017 Macbooks if you have a newer model, then it won't because the SSD is soldered onto the motherboard, still though please check the compatibility of the NVMe NGFF adapter card before upgrading your MacBook.
