Hello my name is Justin and welcome to my channel. This channel is devoted to fixing things to earning money. I will be fixing things including computers, instruments and furniture - any items that are broke or in need of an upgrade. Watch this space for more videos !
This is an imac from early 2009 bought for £20 - it has been upgraded to 8gb DDR3 ram as well as getting a new 128gb SSD. TOTAL SPENT on this imac was a £20 and bit of enjoyed time! Total was £40! So if you want to get an imac but don't have a lot of cash - check this video out. I have patched Sierra to this imac so that you can use a browser in 2023 (watch youtube etc). You can upgrade it to a later version of mac os which i will cover in another video. Check out dos dude 1 on youtube for any help loading up a new operating system!
In this video i am installing a ssd drive into the early 2009 imac. If you use this video as an instructional video***please note you must remove the ram grill before you start else you will hear the motherboard base snap! as in the video**** ***IF YOU ATTEMPT THIS YOU MUST UNPLUG YOUR IMAC FROM THE WALL SO NO ELECTRICITY IS RUNNING THROUGH**** REPAIR AT YOUR OWN RISK - also make sure you are grounded /wear gloves/ earth yourself before you touch any circuit boards. Else other than that sit back, enjoy, relax and perhaps grab a coffee.
