An ultramarathon puts enormous demand on a GPS tracking device, so the Apple Watch and its less-than-impressive battery surely isn't suitable for one. Right?

After using an Apple Watch while training for and (unofficially) racing my first ultramarathon last year, we can take a closer look at this question and explore some ways to help it go the distance.
