I personally like caseology cases, I’ve purchased a few different ones over the years. So the clear plastic is durable but not too stiff. The red outlining has a great finish.
I love the way it looks on my phone. I’ve only had it for a few days and I know others have noted the paint chipping, so we will have to see about that.
I haven’t ran into this specific problem with any other caseology case.
Another review I looked at said there was this bubble look to the clear plastic on the back of the phone (if you zoom in you might see the bubbles, one is on the “(product)red” area) , which I assume is because of the glass backing to my iPhone 8.
You do however see finger prints on the clear plastic but it’s an easy clean. I haven’t had too much lint, dust, etc but I’m sure like all cases there will be some.
My only future concern is pulling the case off to remove the dust and clean it frequently might crack the red outlining. I cannot speak to how it protects your device if you drop your phone and hopefully I won’t have to.
But overall so far I’m happy with the case.
