In this video I provide a quick summary of the specifications of the new 2020 27 inch iMac that was just released.

Although there were no design changes, the specifications have been given a big boost and is going to be welcome news for those of you needing a new Mac for video editing, music production and animation in 2020.

Certainly the new Silicon Macs are due sometime in 2021 but for those who can't wait this is certainly a great upgrade.

Highlights include:
Intel 10th Generation Processors
Upgradeable to 128GB of Ram on the Apple Store
True Tone Display
1080p Camera
Improved Speaker and Audio
T2 Security Chip

If you have an immediate need for a new computer then I think it is a good pick, but for those of you with a recent iMac it may be worth holding off until next year in anticipation of the new Silicon based iMacs which should provide a more comprehensive update inside and out!
