MacBook Air 2020 Unboxing and Review | 2020 vs 2018 MacBook Air

In this video, I will be unboxing and reviewing the new MacBook Air 2020 and I’ll be comparing it with my 2018 MacBook Air so we can see what all the new features are.

I decided to choose the Gold color this time since I've always had Grey or Space Grey, I felt it was time for a change. I wouldn't really call it Gold but more of Rose Gold.

For the amount of work that I do the base model with 256GB was sufficient enough for me. Previously the base model would come with only 128GB, so I still feel like I've gotten a free upgrade because both the Macbook Air 2020 and MacBook Air 2018 cost the same.

Usually, the laptops come with a little charge time but mine, unfortunately, was completely dead so I had to connect it to power. In the box there is the USB-C 2 meter Charging Cable and a 30W USB-C Power Adapter and a 2-meter USB-C charging cable

With the biggest features being the new M1 chip and the scissor-switch keyboard and then there's the silent fanless design that apple created by using an aluminum heat spreader to get rid of the heat that generates. This new thermal efficiency means no fan running, so no noise being generated, which can get quite annoying especially when you are either on a conference call or if you are trying to record your voice!

I wanted to test the performance of the M1 chip that is supposed to be much faster and more efficient and also the typing on the new scissor-switch magic keyboard.
