The MacBook A1181 is a pretty old laptop by todays standards being dropped for official support by Apple in 2016. You are still able to use one of these Macs today but you'll need to give it some upgrades to help get theses old Macs back up and running on their feet. With mine I already upgraded the ram to 4 gigs and updated my opporating system to MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. Not counting the battery, the last upgrade I really needed to do was an SSD.
