Thanks for watching my video, Please keep in mind I got lucky as said in this
video I was really expecting to see liquid damager and other nasty stuff.

When on eBay be carful of scammer's and false advertising, as I have been caught out in the past also even with this Machine the seller didn't mention the microphone, disc drive or HDD issue's but luckily these where easily fixed and my have been made worse by transit, this could have been like many of my projects that needed more work and or money than I am will in invest in them. As for this Macbook 6,1 Late 2009 Original spec and changes are listed below.

Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlaXFjyLCE8&t=818s

Original Spec's would include on buying this machine:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (P7550) (2.26 GHz)
RAM: 2GB DDR3 1066Mhz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M (256MB VRAM)
Storage: 500GB HDD (almost dead)
Battery: 58 Cycles (out of 1000 Cycles)
OS: Snow Leopard 10.5.8

New Upgrades and fixes:

RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Storage: 240GB SSD
Thermal Paste replaced on all CPU and GPU
full clean inside and out.
OS: Upgrade to MacOS Catalina 10.15.5

Would I recommend the Catalina upgrade Yes and Maybe, the biggest problem is the Metal and 32bit support, this really hurts the support for the Macbook some Applications need Metal to run and when your GPU does not support Metal the Application / Game will attempt to run but crash out after a few seconds.

Saying this this only effects certain Metal Games mostly, but because you loose 32 bit support also this means your older games and none Metal software so also not going to work.

If you are using this for as a day to day college Macbook, or want your first Macbook this is the perfect Machine. there are games that work and I should have a video for this shortly.
