I accidentally discovered the Mac mini M1 (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) delivers slower read/write speeds from external drives/SSDs than my Intel MacBook Pro from 2019. Is anyone else experiencing speed issues with their Mac mini M1, MacBook Pro M1, or MacBook Air M1 when connecting external drives?

I ran some speed tests on the Mac mini M1 vs 2019 MacBook Pro and was shocked at the results. Hopefully Apple fixes these issues asap! I also show you the Mac mini M1 hooked up to a Samsung 32Q50 (QN32Q50RAFXZA) smart tv as a monitor.
