Using generic Bluetooth Mbit app on an "oldie iPhone 6" to control "pins" on Microbit edge connector. This shows 2 LEDs controlled from iPhone cell phone via Mbit app. which seems to be a generic app which does not need to feed to a Microbit plugged into a powered break- out board such as Robotbit or Superbit. So we can connect a cell phone to the Microbit and use 'pins' to connect via jumper wires to outputs such as LEDs. Here is the code: https://makecode.microbit.org/_HsMckW...
You can find the MBit app online..
this is what the MBit app looks like on-line. https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...
Here I show code with iPhone; important note, unlike with the Yahboom Superbit code for MakeCode Micro;bit, and Bluetooth: this Microbit code shown is NOT specific to the type of phone used (android vs iPhone) . These old iPhones and Android phones can be bought used of Ebay for 50-70 dollars in the US. They do NOT need an internet connection to work and do not need a phone account to work.
You may need to find the app. with a QR code to your cell phone to download it. This bluetooth should work with a tablet also.
