The clubhouse is a new social media app based on audio.

The Clubhouse app is only available for iOS devices and it invites only. You can't use the app without an invite code from a friend. When you sign up for Clubhouse, you get an invite code.

Once you get into the app, you can join rooms or create your own room. The rooms in the Clubhouse are audio/voice-based. There is no text, pictures, or videos.
In each room, there are three permission types. You can be a moderator (creator of the room), a speaker, or a listener. By default, anyone joining a room is a listener. You can raise your hand to get permission to become a speaker. You can mute yourself at any time as a speaker. No one can hear you as a listener.

You can also use the explore page to find and follow people and find and follow clubs.
