QR codes are more prevalent than ever, and your iPhone has a hidden app for that. Watch this video to learn how to use Code Scanner on iPhone.

To get to the Code Scanner app, swipe downward in the middle of your home screen to open the Search page. Then, search for “code scanner.” When you see Code Scanner appear, tap it to open the app. Once a QR code is visible in your camera view, the app will scan and open the QR code link immediately. This is a perk to using the Code Scanner app instead of just scanning a QR code in your iPhone’s camera app. Scanning QR codes with your camera will bring a pop-up you need to click to open the link. Code Scanner is much faster and can open websites using an in-app browser rather than opening a new tab in Safari.
