Eugene Liscio is an absolute specialist in the field of LIDAR and photogrammetry in the field of forensic. He is a trainer, investigator and university lecturer on topics related to forensic metrology.
For testing the scanning with the Iphone, he used the app from everypoint. This currently free APP processes the LIDAR data from the Iphone 12 and image data into a 3D point cloud or model.


Eugene tested this combination of LIDAR and photogrammetry to see how well the solution worked and how good the results were compared to a terrestrial scanner that costs many times more. We were very surprised by the results. Take a look.
