Here is how to change the settings to allow you to delete apps from the iPhone.

1. Go to Settings
2. Click Screen Time
3. Click Content and Privacy Restrictions
4. Click iTunes & App Store Purchases
5. Deleting Apps
6. Set it to Allow
7. Go to the home screen and hold your finger down on an app, and options will pop up, including the option to delete the app.
