So I recently bought a brand new 16 inch MacBook Pro and like any Apple product, I paid a pretty penny for it. What’s even crazier though, is that what I paid for this new laptop is only a fraction of its true cost. On the surface, it may appear that it only costs a certain amount, but when the concepts of opportunity cost and investing are considered, it’s actually worth a lot more than meets the eye. So in this video, I explain the concept of opportunity cost, how it relates to personal finance and investing, how much this new MacBook Pro REALLY cost me, and then whether or not I think that it was worth it.
