MFS2020 Apple Pro Display XDR | 6K resolution | MFS2020 6K resolution | 6016x3384 | Xeon E5 2697v2was recorded for demonstration purposes of Titan RTX and very old CPU. This is my workstation and not a gaming computer, so it still has the power of 24 threads for multitasking processes. Demonstration of 6016x3384 pixels rendered in real-time in Low-Ultra visual presets.
So I visited friends with my workstation PC while doing some project and I recorded a beautiful video on their Apple Pro Display XDR monitor. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 PC game is an absolutely gorgeous game and this is how it renders like on 6K resolution screen. Check the fps at the right top corner and I tried to show you all kinds of visuals presets. As you can see Titan RTX was struggling to pull avg 30 fps on ultra and medium visual settings, so the next-generation Nvidia RTX 3090 video card will have almost double performance and will achieve comfortable 30 fps at medium visual preset. Keep in mind that 20-25 fps in MFS 2020 is still decent fps for flying. During this video, I was grabbing photo-realistic texture from online(feature in the game when the internet was connected and above 5 Mpbs connection) while connected with 25 Mbps internet connection while visiting my friends with 6K resolution screen. It is a hard task to connect Apple Pro Display XDR monitor to the PC - Apple made it as hard as possible, however with the right TB3 converter and adjustment to the drivers - it is achievable without XDR frequencies or colors, but 6K resolution. Apple Pro Display XDR monitor will function correctly only under Mac computers.
