I have two camera bodies I use for other projects. I have cages for those and I wanted to cage both my phones! I originally had an iPhone 11 and purchased a Ulanzi cage for that phone, but it didn't have the versatility I yearned for in a phone cage with all the possibilities out today. So when I decided I would look for a company to rig my phones I wanted one company that made cages built with excellent functionality. Enter my friend Michael Bodine II who is a big BeastGrip and BeastCam expert and mobile professional. He was in the middle of a few BeastGrip purchases ( the new wide angle Kenko and the new 1.55x anamorphic). He offered me a BeastGrip Pro which is a universal and versatile cage but I wanted something closer to the form of an actual camera! Looking on the site I found a cage for the iPhone SE I had that's made in the same form factor as the 6/7/8 gen iPhones. I leaped at the purchase finding out their cages were very versatile indeed! And I plan on getting one for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Anyways not to get off subject but the cage has a 37mm threaded plate by default and comes with an optional plate for bayonet mount lenses.
This makes it so I can purchase any phone lens from any company to mount on the cage as well as either DOF adapter that is available currently. This cage and this phone is made for this moment.
The iPhone SE 2020 has the same A13 chip as iPhone 11 models. It also has the same 12mp f1.8 main as the 11 models. This makes the iPhone SE 2020 as good as most budget cameras you can buy, maybe better.
