Is using a mouse on the new iPad Pro (2020 Edition) worth doing?

I'm still not sold on it BUT at least it's not a pointer but a dot? The mouse pointer adapts to the button it is hovering over so that's different. Other than that, I'm not sure if there is anything else different about the mouse on the iPad.

I'll be honest with you, I don't know how I feel about using a mouse on the iPad. I'm guessing it's going to make moving from a Surface to an iPad easier but how about me?

I've been using iPad's and MacBooks for more than 1/2 my life. I know what to use each device for. To figure this out, I went out of my usual 9.7 inch and bought the 12.9 inch to see if a larger screen will change my mind.

I guess the deal breaker for me will be when I get the actual iPad Keyboard+Trackpad combo for ~$500 dollars (which is offensive).
