What’s going to be the best screen protector for the iPhone 11 (and most likely the iPhone 12 as well)? I spent $300 dollars on screen protectors to find out which was best in terms of:
1. Installation
2. Fit/Coverage
3. Impact Protection
4. Scratch Resistance
I also figured out the replacement warranties for each product (that was terrible to do).
In this video, we test products from Zagg, Spigen, Otterbox, Whitestone, Belkin, Tech Armor, FLOLAB and JETech and these products are the Top 3. Here’s my Top 3 (I’ve included affiliate links for the products):
1. FLOLAB NanoArmour (I think my code "MRE10" still works at https://www.flolab.io)
2. Zagg Glass Elite (https://mreh.ca/3lRAZW2)
3. Spigen Glas.tR Align Master (https://mreh.ca/3knntcF)
These three products performed the best in my test period. The Zagg Glass Elite is the most expensive product in my Top 3 but also has a replacement program so depending on how long you use your device, that’s worth checking out. The Spigen product is the cheapest in the group but it also had the worst scratch protection of the three so it’s going to crack quicker.
The FLOLAB NanoArmour is priced better than the Zagg and tougher than the Spigen which is why it takes #1 in my testing.

7. Belkin Invisible Glass Ultra (https://mreh.ca/34766Xx)
8. JETech Tempered Glass
9. Tech Armor Ballistic Glass

Install
So before we could do anything to the screen protectors, we had to install them all. The easiest to install was the Zagg product because of their double tabbed system and tray. It’s just easier to make adjustments as you’re laying down glass.
I actually found that having an install tray that fit worked much better than all the fancy trays that Otterbox and Belkin used.
The worst product in terms of install is the Whitestone Domeglass. It requires you to add the adhesive yourself which results in a stronger product but is very involved and smells bad. Honestly, tech accessories should be simple to use.
Fit/Coverage
The first I looked at with these screen protectors is the fit and there’s two sides to fit. First you have the overall coverage of the screen protector. Next is the size of the hole for your home button.
Combining the scores for the size of the cutout and overall coverage, the top three screen protectors ended up being the Spigen Glastr Align, FLOLAB NanorArmor and JeTech and Whitestone tying for 3rd. As a side note, both the Spigen and Flolab products have glass that go around the entire home button.
The smallest screen protector belonged to both the Belkin Invisible Glass Ultra and Tech Armor.
Impact
The Top 3 products when it came to impact are the Zagg Glass Elite, FLOLAB NanoArmor and Whitestone Dome Glass.
The Belkin Invisble Glass Ultra came dead last. It’s suppose to be corning 2 glass. I say suppose to be because another Corning 2 product, the Amplify, performed much better than the Invisible Glass Ultra.
Warranty
Zagg - Pay for shipping
Spigen - Fill out a form and pay shipping cost of broken + 50% off replacement
Otterbox - You have to call them
Whitestone - I know they have a program for it, I tried registering my product for it BUT they rejected my product. I’m guessing it’s because I selected Local Store in the list of retail establishments. Apparently products purchased directly from Whitestone, through their website are a little too shady to be used by Whitestone’s warranty program.
