So, the first thing what you have to do is you have to restart your iPhone. Sometimes simply restarting your iPhone will fix many of the issues. After your have restarted your iPhone the next thing what you have to do is, you have to check if there is internet connection in your iPhone or not. So, try to open a website or try to open another application and check if there is internet connection in your iPhone or not. So, once you have done two of these things then the third thing you have to do is you have to check if there is an update available for the Instagram application. Sometimes there might be a bug due to which Instagram application has a problem. So, simply updating Instagram app to the latest version can fix the issue. So, for that one what we will do let's go ahead and let's tap and hold the app store. Let's go to "updates" and under here you will see if there is an update available for Instagram application or not. So, if you see Instagram app. So, there is an Instagram application here. Right now there is open on the side. This means the Instagram application is updated recently. So, if there is an update this one instead of open then update your Instagram application. Now the other thing what you have to do is you also have to check if there is an update available for the iOS version which you have installed in your iPhone. Sometimes there might be a compatibility issue between the application and the iOS version due to which the Instagram application might not work. So, let us go ahead and open "Settings". Let's go to "General". Go to "Software update". Now the iPhone is looking for update if there is available. For me the iOS version is up to date. If there is an update pending for you, update the iOS software. Now the other thing what you have to do is, you have to simply uninstall the application and reinstall it again. So, just and hold the Instagram until you see there is a "-" icon. Then what you do tap on the "-" icon and select "Delete app". So, once you have deleted the Instagram application, what you do again you have to go back to the App store and you have to search for the Instagram and install it again. Now the other thing what you can do is you can also use a VPN software and try to open Instagram application. Sometimes the Instagram application might be blocked in your country due to which it might be blocked or it might not be working for your country due to which it will not work. So, simply use a VPN application and check if the Instagram app will open or not. For me I have installed Proton VPN. This is free to use. So, install the VPN and try to open Instagram application. If none of these methods work then the problem might be with the Instagram application itself. The Instagram application might not be working at this moment. So, what you have to do, you have to check if you can open Instagram application in other devices also or not. If in other devices also Instagram application does not work that means there is a problem with Instagram application and you can not do anything about that. So, what you can do is you can simply send a feedback to the Instagram about the issue and hope that it will be fixed.
