brief 1st test of using the ZamAudio ZamGEQ31 graphic equalizer running on a Raspberry PI 4, and being adjusted by the iPhone RealVNC APP
http://www.zamaudio.com/?p=976

this is a first test in a new series of tests regarding opensource assisted listening system projects...see this playlist for more info on building your own assisted listening systems for your organization:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfFan4sDonOcMWCIjLCApF-rM3PeYFpLA

the CONCEPT IDEA - is to provide the user with a custom built PI, and then allow them access to the REALvnc connection to it...have them download the RealVNC app on their smart phone and be able to control the ZamGEQ31 APP, to adjust the EQ of the PREACHER/SPEAKER/SUNday School teacher et al. to their preferences according to their own unique hearing deficits...etc...

The Speakers voice is sent to them from their microphone/PA SYSTEM, over WiFi, using the opensource audio over ip APP - SonoBus - https://sonobus.net/

NOTE: the audio you hear is from a MICROPHONE laying in front of the SPEAKER connected to the native analogue audio output jack of the RASPBERRY PI 4...(another audio source is playing in the background coming from a TV in another room in the house...but not enough to interfere with this EQ demo)
the audio used in this demo, being sent to the PI over ip, is a media file from JOHN MacArthur GRACE TO YOU sermons:
