This is an awesome product and complemented my Android headunit very well! Install was easy as can be and as you can see, the CarPlay looks great.
This works perfectly on my ATOTO Android head unit. This radio already had autokit app installed so I just had to plug in the phone and voila!Android auto and car play work even faster than the native interface of the radio, secially Google maps.
It was lo laggy on the ATOTO system reason I never used. NOW Its fast! The interface is really well implemented.BTW, at first my Android phone was not triggering Android auto, the problem was that the cable was only for charging, not for data transfer.
If you are using a cable type-c make sure its for data transfer. Just try different cables, thats the only way to know. So happy with my purchase. =]
It works, but Im having this small issue where the music such as Spotify or youtube music randomly pauses. Sometimes I have to hit play 10 times for it to actually play the song.
I do not have this issue in my other car where android auto came stock, so its not my phone.
So far is working perfect tip to ppl before buying make sure you have a Android head unit. Install app Autokit and you’ll be golden starts up quick soon as i plug usb to my phone worth the penny
Works as advertisedVery nice it worked despite me being skeptical bc of other reviewS. It dies carplay on apple Iphone with an android head unit (my setup).
