This mount is great, that is until it falls off the dashboard. My best guess is the adhesive on the bottom rubber that sticks to the dashboard was not made to handle the hot temperatures (90-115 degrees F) When it falls off, it sticks right back on.
I might be weird, but I had a Garmin friction mount, and wished to use that to hold my cellphone as well, because I simply didnt like suction cup mounts.
So I was looking for something that holds cellphones, but with the same ball connection to the stand. It turns out that this product works great for that purpose, and they are actually interchangeable.
I can use it to mount my Garmin GPS, or use the clip for my cellphone. Very happy with the purchase. The gel pad seems to be very sticky, but I probably wont use it anyway.
Great phone and GPS holder. Mounted easily and stays put. Swivels nicely to view vertical or horizontal. Have not tried to remove it, so I cant review that aspect of it, but the function and look is great.
I can easily put my phone in the holder one handed as I buckle up or what not, which is nice. I recommend this holder!
