These arrived quickly and as advertised. I watched a couple videos before installing so I was aware of the procedure before the package arrived. I completed the upgrade in ten minutes, very easy and very happy with the product.
I upgraded my 2011 iMac 27 from 16 gig ram to 32 gigs. The shop up the street wanted $160 for the RAM and $35 to install. I saved $125 for ten minutes work
Wasn’t sure if this was going to work because per Apple, 2011 MacBook Pro ram upgrade, 8gb was the max. Now the sluggish laptop feels like how it was when initially purchased back in 2011 when the original iOS wasn’t as robust as the current version.
I can now edit videos again, last time I was effectively able to do so was back in 2014.
The moment I installed the RAM inside my MacBook Pro, it's able to recognize the RAM instantly and running well so far. Definitely recommended!!!
As you can see in the pics, you CAN leave the (2) 2gig chips in and add different size chips so be it they are still compatible with your iMac.Wont go past High Sierra but no big deal.This is a quick internet browser, email and iMessaging (texting) box for my mom.Oh...and the RAM is Made in the USA !!
