If you're shopping for a new laptop, then chances are it's either broken or too slow to run the latest apps. But in some cases, you can spare the expense and stress of buying a new machine with these three simple upgrades we are about to show you.

Upgrading a laptop doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. A little patience, the right tools, and watching this video should set you up for success. In fact, we ran into quite a few issues when upgrading a five-year-old Dell XPS 15 laptop.
