THIS ROAD (#1 of the "iPhone series")

The lead vocal and guitar were recorded in isolation, during the lockdown, with only my iPhone 5-SE! The production was built around that recording. This is the first of what I am calling the "iPhone series"! I recorded 20+ songs this way while we were all in lonely isolation! I am proud of these very personal works that express emotions I went through during the last year. Look for more in the series as the year progresses!

I dedicate this video to Jim Miller and Tony Minnella, my dear friends, who passed away during the pandemic. I wrote the song about anxiety and depression, and re-wrote it many times during 2020 as the changing world around us became so surreal. When events hit so close to home, I decided to create a video about the depression, anxiety, and sometimes horror that so many were experiencing, as we walked this new, difficult road in everything we now do. The video focuses upon a beautiful message that came to me during a particularly bad day: Jesus telling us "I'll walk this road!" and thus... "YOU can go on home!!!" It is my belief there is a reason for everything that happens, and there is good where you look for it, and always a LIGHT at the end of the proverbial tunnel!

My apologies to my fans to whom I promised this last year, but we were hit so hard from all sides, that I simply could not. But HERE it is! And I am so very proud of the message this video delivers. I am in the midst of getting back on track too, as I am already working on the next three videos!!! (Yay!)
