Surprising My Girlfriend with BRAND NEW MacBook

Wait. That’s a little too far forward. Let’s go back a bit. Hi. My name is Jimmy and I bought my girlfriend of 7 years a brand-new 2020 MacBook air. Quite literally the same day it came out. It just took a week for shipping. But why? Well, it’s crazy to think, but, everyone has been in doors for a while and both her and I are fortunate that we still have our jobs in these hectic times. So, she’s been working from home a lot and her job definitely needs her to be on her laptop. But, her current macbook, just wasn’t cutting it. And here it is.

This is the 2014 11in macbook air. It’s a little outdated, but functionally it works fine. There’s a few nicks, scratches, and dents on the case, some of the rubber on the lid of the macbook has been removed, the battery lasts about half as long as it used to, and the apple logo blinds everyone at night. But everyday tasks you need to run on this thing works fine. So, why am I upgrading her? Well, with everyone being in doors, the type of work she’s been doing has changed. Before she would just use it to type emails, do schoolwork, surf the internet and watch YouTube videos but now She needed something that could handle all the new things she has to do, including some light video editing. And since her laptop is also her primary source of entertainment, the weak speakers, and tn panel on the 2014 macbook air just wasn’t cutting it for her. So, I knew I wanted to get her a new computer soon, I knew she specifically wanted a macbook but not one with the terrible butterfly-style keyboard like the one I had. Those weren’t actually her words, just words I made to make her sound rude. It just made sense for her to upgrade her old macbook air, with the new 2020 MacBook air. So, here’s how I went about surprising her. I had to drive to her place so, I hid the laptop under some clothes I had in the car, and told her I was heading over. She hates being on video so I’ll be telling her, I wanted to tell you guys, my audience about our “crazy” vacation back in December, just to get her comfortable and being ok with being on screen. From there, with the camera still rolling, I’ll just super smoothly pull the computer out and surprise her. And she’ll never expect a thing. At least, that’s what I’m hoping. Well here’s what happened. Enjoy.

So, now that we got that out of the way. Why did I get my significant other a new computer? Well, see. We’ve been dating for about 7 years. Which is a long time. And last year in December. We took a trip to LA, and enjoyed a week long vacation exploring the city and Disneyland. Which was alot of walking. In Disneyland and in lines. So much walking. Anyway, point is, At the beginning of our trip, at Disneyland, during the fireworks, we got engaged. Back in 2016 we had a trip to Disneyland, and during that time, she told me, that her dream proposal was at Disneyland, during the fireworks, around Christmas. And so, that’s what I did. So, this video was partially a lie. I didn’t surprise my girlfriend with a new Macbook air, I surprised my fiancé with a new 2020 Macbook air. I hope you didn’t mind the little lie. And that’s something I wanted to tell you guys for a while, and I was hoping a video like this was a great way of sharing that with you guys. So, I guess I need to change the video title now, to “I surprised my fiancé with a new macbook air and surprised my viewers with our engagement (NOT CLICKBAIT) (GONE WRONG) (YOU NEVER SAW IT COMING).
