Reviewing the Sony Xperia 5 II again, eight months post-launch, to see if it's still among the best smartphones of 2021. Gaming, movies, music, camera shenanigans - it's all a joy on this 6-inch mobile, although here's hoping the Xperia 5 III sorts out the few little issues with this model (full unboxing coming soon!)
I have only a few gripes with this feature-packed phone, beginning with the super-slippery design and the plethora of buttons crammed onto that right edge. The selfie camera is also poor compared with the main optics, which are great for capturing active subjects. That eye autofocus is next-level, while the Cinema Pro mode is still a lot of fun.
Movie fans and gamers should love that widescreen OLED display, which is notch and blemish free. Sony also crammed a great selection of gaming modes into the Xperia 5 II, which hopefully will be back again for that Xperia 5 III.
So have you been using this brilliant blower? Let us know your own thoughts down below!
