Is iPhone 6 worth buying 2020? Simply the iPhone 6 is a great option if you are light user that uses the phone for its basic call/text/music/browsing but if you are a heavy user of your iPhone it’s time to upgrade. Even if it’s the 6S or iPhone 7 which you can get around $100 - $130 now. Check out the link to the discounted prices on eBay/Amazon if you are looking to buy something cheap but still has lots of power.

Good things about iPhone 6 still in 2020:
Design is slick and light weight compared to iPhone 11 Pro Max and still has the home button and 3.5mm audio jack still available
. Basic call/text works pheremonal . Browsing is little slow if you browser a lot. Music streaming works great, if you are using it as a ipod/music device
. LTE coverage works at 4G LTE for Netflix/Hulu/Youtube works over cellular
• Video streaming works with slightly slower speed. Most games work with little lag depending on the kind of game you are playing. Games with lots of graphics might experience rendering issues.
Social media apps little slow to open but most social media apps like FB, twitter, IG, tiktok works without any major issues. Productivity tools and financial tools for banking and sending/receiving money works optimal.

Bad things about iPhone 6 in 2020:
iOS 12 is the last supported iOS update which means slow apps will not work on the iPhone because of compatibility issue. First, thing you will notice is the Apple arcade not working since the iOS 13 is out. Decreased battery life since newer iOS 12 needs more power and battery life over time generally decreases faster. Camera only records 1080px HD where most phones have 4K recording capabilities.
