The home security camera system that was used to record this video consists of three HD coax cameras (HD CCTV / HD-TVI / AHD) and one network IP camera. The cameras are connected to and recording to a Viewtron hybrid DVR / NVR. You can find the DVR here.

The iOS app works with Viewtron IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs. It can run on iPhone and iPad devices. In addition to the remote live camera viewing, the mobile app also supports search and playback of video surveillance footage recorded on the DVR's hard drive. It can also connect directly to IP cameras without using a DVR or NVR.

Here are some additional features that were not demonstrated in the video.

~ Remote Audio Surveillance - IP cameras with built-in audio mics and stand-alone analog microphones.
~ 2 way Audio Communication - Push to talk in the app to send audio to an IP camera with an external speaker.
~ Push Notifications / Alerts - Receive a push notification based on video motion detection, magnetic door / window sensors, PIR motion sensors.
~ Multiple DVR / Location Support - Users can connect the app to more than one DVR / multiple locations. For example, users can monitor their home and business from the same app.
