After one month of using the 2020 Samsung Galaxy A51 the best selling android phone in 2020, I decided its time to give you my thoughts on this top budget phone. I don’t normally start a video by talking about the price of any items but, its important because I feel like a lot of reviewers will bash a budget device and act like the price isn’t an excuse for a certain level of performance or benchmarks. You can check current prices below but when I got this phone over a month ago, it cost less than $300 on Amazon. When you buy this budget Samsung phone, there are a few things you need to realize before you click add to cart. It is not going to offer 2020 flagship phone performance, the quad camera lens are not going to win any competitions but there will be an A51 camera test with picture samples, and there will be features left out for the purpose of keeping costs low. Now that we’ve set proper expectations, lets talk about why I feel this galaxy phone is worth the asking price under $300 and is one of the best budget phones 2020 has to offer. For anyone wondering, this phone is compatible with Verizon T-Mobile Sprint and several other carriers in the US and worldwide.

For $289, I got a 6.5 inch Samsung display with no notch, 128 GB of storage that’s expandable with a Micro SD card, USB C fast charging, a slim flat design, Android 10, quad cameras ready for social media and even a headphone jack. No I didn’t get a 120hertz refresh rate, fast wireless charging, a glass back or 100 times space zoom camera…but I’m not sad about that and if you do have this A51, good for you or if you’re trying to decide if it’s right for you…I say it’s worth it and it gets a big thumbs up from me.
