Great case. My first Torras case was on my galaxy s9. When that phone crapped out I picked up the recent iPhone SE and as usual, spent hours searching for a case.
After browsing all the phone cases I realized I wasted all that time when I knew I would probably end up purchasing Torras again. Thankfully I did!PROS:The case is matte black (the back panel is a translucent dark grey), smooth to the touch, and feels durable.
The thicker bumper provides extra protection without adding bulk to the overall size of the iPhone. There is a raised lip around the front so the screen is not laying flat on a surface.
The rear panel also has a slightly raised lip so the back is also lifted off the surface.
Last but not least, the clicky buttons are separate pieces and feel satisfying to depress.CONS:The only con is that despite it being smooth matte black, it is prone to fingerprints.Needless to say, I will be ordering another when this wears out.Side note: In the photos, I am using the Zagg matte trim screen protector so it adds some thickness to the screen.
The phone case lip raises high enough to protect the screen, even though the pictures may not appear so.
I like it solid touch feeling, sleek but not slippery. As for protection, it’s enough to protect my new iPhone SE 2020. What makes me most happy is the buttons, it can give you an origanal click responce.

Remember when you were a kid and you had an awesome Halloween costume and you were like HECK YEAH I’M A PIRATE but it was cold that year so your parents made you put on a big thick coat and fuzzy gloves and at that point your costume was just ‘weather-conscientious person with poor depth perception’ (assuming you stuck with the eye-patch motif).
WELL that’s how I’ve always felt about crappy cases covering up my awesome iPhone.But. I just got a 2020 SE and as awesome as it is, it’s a slippery little devil compared to my last SE so I broke down and ordered this case.
Figured even if it sucked, no big, low price. Well! Turns out this case does NOT suck. It’s svelte and subtle and adds the perfect amount of grippiness.
For the first time ever, I feel like my iPhone is protected AND improved.Buy with confidence! Wear a mask! That’s unrelated but, you should.
*(If you’re reading this review far in the future and don’t understand the mask reference, pull up 2020’s Wikipedia page. It’s a doozy, and as of this writing, ONLY HALF OVER.
