2022 has been a terrific year for Pro Tools updates and SantAvid brings us Ventura support with 2022.12 and a Public Beta of M1 Native Pro Tools, although this comes with a huge caveat!

While Andy’s out of the office, Dave and Anders sit down to have a quick chat about it and to reiterate a very important point about the M1 Beta. We’ll likely dive deeper with Andy in a future episode.

It’s a Beta - Beta releases are about public TESTING - it’s not a release to use for mission critical work. It’s for Avid to receive public feedback on what works and what’s problematic, based on our infinitesimal workflows. So try it, see what happens, and report what goes wrong. That’s the point..

..although we’re sure there’ll still be moaning that it “doesn’t work”!!
