Join me as I take on the ultimate challenge - running my first Marathon in 7 years!
After a long break, I'm ready to push myself once again and take on 26 miles (42km). I have no idea why, lol. I also managed to talk my wife into it, she's only ever ran half marathons before!

The one thing I have in my favour, living on the Costa Blanca, is the incredible backdrop to my runs and I'll be sharing these videos from time to time as I document my progress.
My previous two marathons (2015 & 2016) were relatively decent times for a new runner but I'm under no illusions that I'll come anywhere near those sub 4 hours times now that I'm pushing 53 years of age... I'm determined to prove to myself that I still have what it takes to conquer this challenge.

Whether it's the physical strain on my body or the mental exhaustion of pushing through the toughest moments, I know that this marathon will test me in ways I haven't been tested before. Despite the challenges ahead, I'm excited to take on this marathon and see what I'm truly capable of. I'll commit to a finishing goal time once I have a few warm up runs out of the way.
I'm looking forward to using this opportunity to continue to improve my creative ideas with the video capture and editing and sharing the results with you.
Get ready for a journey filled with challenges, triumphs, and everything in between as I tackle my first marathon in 7 years.
