I was fortunate to have an opportunity to work with Jhuma Limbu. She is one of the few pioneers and specialists who have been working in Limbu music tradition from many decades.
In this interview she explains how Limbu music tradition came into existence (origin), the song text, mentions her works and dedication towards Limbu music tradition and Nepali music, works that need to be done and many more.
This video was shot at Hotel Sneha, Nepalgunj.
Video was shot from IPhone SE 2020 and audio recorded from Zoom H4 recorder.
The song at the end is an attempt to actualize the real performance. Apologies for any inconvenience.
