Magic Keyboard Review - 1 Year Later

The Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad pro has been out for about a year now and I’ve been using it pretty regularly since it was released. And to be totally honest… I still love it! While it still isn't perfect, the magic keyboard offers a lot of very important upgrades over the older smart folio keyboard case.

For example the backlit keys, trackpad, extra USB-C port , and the new (old) scissor switches are welcome additions. However you do lose the ability to flip the keyboard behind the ipad so everything lays flat which removes a lot of functionality from the design and makes it hard to recommend this for certain types of users.

Overall though, if you don’t mind that minor tradeoff, this is definitely something to consider for your iPad Pro!
