Configuration : M2PRO, 16 GIGS OF RAM, 12 CPU 19 GPU.
With all the new hype around the M2 Mac mini and solid reviews on the M1 chip I was so excited to upgrade my 10 year old iMac only to be disappointed. To my surprise it was not WAY faster than the M1 iMac as I thought it would be, and the configuration that was suggested to me was probably not the ideal set up for my full time photography needs. I should have chosen RAM over CPU and GPU. Apple also does not make the decision easy to max out the mini M2 Pro as the pricing is splitting hairs between the base Mac Studio. #thestruggleisreal #macminim2 or #macstudo ? I’m back to the drawing board as I figure out what I need vs what I want.
My video is not perfect but but I still wanted to put out this review.
