Do you want to lock some particular Apps on your iPhone (iOS14) or hide some apps which are not appropriate for certain age group? In this video we will show step by steps process for how to lock iPhone Apps with Passcode and also how to hide Apps on iPhone 12 Mini.

If some other people have access to your iPhone and 12 Mini and you are conscious about your privacy, you can lock personal apps or hide them with iPhone's screen time feature. You won't need to install any 3rd party apps for it, so it is completely safe.

Let's check out the steps you have to follow to lock and hide apps on iPhone 12 Mini

Lock Apps:

If you want to lock a specific app or game or you want to delete apps of particular tpe like social, this is the way you lock the app with Passcode.

Step-1: Open 'Settings'
Step-2: Tap 'Screen Time'
Step-3: Tap Use Screen Time Passcode
Step-4: Enter a password and verify it
Step-5: Enter your Apple ID and Password
Step-6: Tap 'OK'
Step-7: Scroll up and Tap 'App Limit'
Step-8: Tap 'Add Limits'
Step-9: Enter 'Screen Time Passcode'
Step-10: Select 'Apps'
Step-11: Tap 'Next'
Step-12: Set a time, We are setting 1 minutes for this video
Step-13: Tap Add

Now the App will be greyed out and If you open the App it will look like this If you want to use it,
• Open the App
• Tap 'Ask for more time'
• Enter your Screen time Passcode
• You will get these 3 option choose the one you prefer and you can use the app for that much time. After the time is up it will be locked again.

Hide Apps:

Now if you want to hide some apps which is not appropriate for certain apps you can do that.

Step-1: Open ‘Settings’
Step-2: Tap ‘Screen Time’
Step-3: Tap ‘Content and Privacy Restriction’
Step-4: Toggle on ‘Content and Privacy Restriction’
Step-5: Tap ‘Content Restrictions’
Step-6: Tap ‘Apps’
Step-7: Select show certain age appropriate apps or you can hide all the apps by selecting Show no Apps

This is the way you can lock apps with password and hide apps on your iPhone to better protect your Privacy.
