Hamirpur(Himachal) State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against Kanungo of Hamirpur Sadar for taking bribe more than one lakh rupees. Kanungo is accused of taking bribe in lieu of arranging land for a shop. The businessman of Hamirpur city has filed a complaint seeking bribe against Kanungo in Vigilance. After receiving the complaint, Vigilance has registered a case and has started further action. Recorded and video camera footage has also been captured, though the video is a week old.
