iPhone SE 2020 & RODE Wireless GO With RODE Lavalier GO, iPhone Vlogging With An External Microphone

So just as the title is saying. In this video I'm trying more combinations for vlogging using an iPhone, obviously in this video it's the iPhone SE 2020.

There are two microphones being used in this video, the RODE Wireless GO and the RODE Lavalier GO. I start of using just the Wireless GO just on its own and then I use the Lavalier GO plugged into the Wireless GO.

You can of course use the Lavalier GO on its own with any iPhone but I'd forgotten to bring out my adapter cable, so didn't use it on its own with the iPhone SE 2020.

The microphones are connected to the iPhone via a combination of two cables. The first cable is the RODE SC7 which is a male 3.5mm TRS to male 3.5mm TRRS cable, the second cable is the Apple Lightning to headphone adapter. The Apple headphone adapter is also TRRS wired and also accepts a microphone input via a TRRS connection. The RODE SC7 cable basically turns the output of the mic that it's connected to in to a TRRS output which makes it compatible with any TRRS mic input, such as that on the iPhone with the use of the Apple Lightning to headphone adapter cable.
