Do you want to sell your 2nd generation iPhone SE? Or for some reason you want to erase all the content and settings from your iPhone? In this video we will show step by step process to do a hard reset on iPhone SE 2 without PC and remove it from your Apple ID for security measure.


Before you start erasing all content and settings on iPhone SE 2, make sure to backup all your important data and contents as everything will be deleted from the iPhone and it will become as it was out of the box. So you don't loose any of your impotent data.


Let's check out in first part how to do a hard reset iPhone SE 2 without PC or using any buttons and in the second part how to remove the iPhone SE 2.


***1st Part, Hard Reset iPhone SE 2:

You can easily do a factory reset on your iPhone SE 2 from the iPhone Settings. You won't have to connect it to any PC or use any buttons.

Step-1: Launch ‘Settings App’
Step-2: Tap ‘General’
Step-3: Scroll Down and Tap ‘Reset’
Step-4: Tap ‘Erase All Content and Settings’
Step-5: Tap ‘Erase Now’
Step--6: Enter your Passcode if prompted
Step-7 Tap ‘Erase iPhone’
Step-8: Again Tap ‘Erase iPhone
Step-9: Enter your Apple ID Passcode
Step-10 Tap ‘Erase’

Your iPhone will take Auto restart and it will open with ‘Hello’. This is the way you can erase all the Data and contents from your iPhone SE 2.


***2nd Part, Remove iPhone SE 2 from the Apple ID:

If you are selling or giving this iPhone to someone else, you can remove the device from your Apple ID for Safety.

Step-1: Open the Browser on a PC or a mobile device
Step-2: Go to appleid.apple.com
Step-3: Login with your apple id
Step-4: Scroll down and tap on your iPhone SE
Step-5: Tap ‘Remove this device’
Step-6: Tap ‘Remove this Phone’

And it will erase it from your Apple ID. But if you sign in with your Apple ID Again this device it will be added to your Apple ID again.


This is the way you can erase all content and settings from your iPhone SE 2 so it became as it was out of the box. It will also be removed from your Apple ID.
