Apple is known for making changes in iPhone naming convention. While some of the naming choices had sense, other examples in iPhone naming scheme, not so much. Some are even ridiculous. The truth is, Apple was not very straight forward or clear when naming their iPhone products.
In this video Digital Markings is also running through long iPhone naming history till its potential dead end. While we are waiting for iPhone 12 models, there is anticipation that one of those might be even called iPhone 12 mini. We are also talking about iPhone design cycle, naming exceptions as well as rumors about possible upcoming change of Apple's iPhone naming scheme - what will be iPhone naming in 2021.
