This is the iPhone 12 green glow issue found by someone else here:

The issue still exists in the iPhone 12 Pro Max made in December 2020 (week 50) in factory G6 (China, Shenzhen - Foxconn).

The green glow appears on black screen when the brightness is set below about 30%.

If you want to test your iPhone, download this black picture: https://i.imgur.com/yaxUqO1.png
Save it to your photos, then open it and change the brightness to 0%.
You need to be in a perfectly dark room to be able to see if there is a green glow, stay in the room for about 5 minutes and let your eyes adjust to the low light.
