iPad Pro 2020 1 Week Review - Gotta Have It?

It's been over a week using the iPad Pro 2020 as my main laptop and daily driver. To start off, this thing is fast, and I mean REALLY fast. It outperforms my Surface Laptop 3 with respect to benchmark scores. There are minimal improvements compared to the iPad Pro 2018 model. The biggest change being the LIDAR scanner on the back which will help measure depth within the iPad Pro's environment and AR. iPadOS 13.4 also brought a brand new mouse and trackpad support to give the iPad a more traditional laptop feel.

As much as I tried, the limiting factor of the iPad Pro is the software. Hardware-wise, this thing is absolutely amazing and I'm sure over time as the software improves, iPad will just get better and better. For my recommendation on if you gotta have it. If you want to be trendy, get this device. If you NEED the LIDAR scanner for your work, get this device. Other than that, get the 2018 model or just a traditional laptop. At the price, a laptop gives you so much more.
