Installing a Third Party SSD (Hard Drive) on a Macbook Pro

My current Mac is an early 2015 model, a1502, to be exact, with only a 128 gb hard drive. I am upgrading this to a 256 gb ssd third party hard drive I bought in an online shop.
Sending this to an apple store for upgrade is not an option for me because, not only that it is extremely expensive, I also need to wait for several months before I could get this back. And so I have to do this on my own, I’m just relying on a few YouTube tutorials and pure guts.
This Mac has served me for 5 years now and this has undergone a lot of rough handling but I left this on a shelf for almost a year in favor of an iPad Pro. I wanted to use this again because iPad Pro can’t handle everything I need. Although I can also edit videos on an iPad, Lumafusion, the video editing app, is still too limited to handle the editing requirements I need. There is also no audio editing software that can handle the job of Izotope or Adobe Audition. And so I am going back to this old but trusty Mac.
