Biodata:
Azlan Othman is the Chief Designer for PROTON and has been with the company for over 23 years. His First Degree is in Industrial Design (Automotive Design) and in 2006 he obtained his Masters Degree in Design Technology from UiTM Shah Alam. Later in 2017 he was awarded an Executive Master (Management) from Asia Metropolitan University as part of his induction into the DRB-HICOM Top Talent Program. A seasoned professional in the automotive sector he is also actively involved in many other fields related to Art & Design such as Design Education, Furniture Design, Digital Visualization and Product Development. Passion driven, he has won awards including the Category Champion for Malaysia’s Anugerah Harta Intelek Negara 2015 (Industrial Design) and CarSifu Editors Award for Best Local Design (Proton Perdana) with the PROTON Design team. True to his belief in lifelong learning, he is now pursuing a PhD in Design Management.
