The LG KE850 Prada which was released a few months before the original iPhone was the worlds first phone with a capacitive touchscreen. Its exorbitant price, inferior build quality and lack of comparable features made it not sell as much as the 1st Gen iPhone did hence, why its not well known and the iPhone 2G is usually considered as the first capacitive touchscreen phone.
