Here's how to use picture in picture on your iPhone or iPad. This demo is on my iPhone running IOS 14. Picture in picture is a great way to multitask, you can continue watching a movie or tv show and catch up with your emails or browse to other websites. The picture in picture function is very easy to setup and use. IOS 14 is the current IOS.

Another way to get your Netflix or Disney+ etc show into picture in picture is to have the film run full screen, swipe down for notification centre then open an app like the calculator. This will also put it into picture in picture mode

Some of the apps that picture in picture (pip) work with are: Apple TV, Podcasts, Safari, FaceTime, iTunes, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime and many more.

There are work arounds out there for getting YouTube to work. The PiP is a part of their premium subscription which is why it doesn't work naturally.
