How to upgrade your iMac with an SSD? It really is not that difficult. In this tutorial, I show you how I installed a 2TB SSD from Samsung on my late 2015 iMac with the help of the iFixit kit. This kit works for installing an SSD on your 2012-2019 27" iMac. The whole repair cost me about $300, and 1.5 hours of time. I am so happy I did it, as now my iMac is working much faster, and with way more storage!

You will need to clone your existing hard drive first, which I did using Carbon Copy Cloner. You can get this software on a free 30 day trial on their website. https://bombich.com/
