Swapping out the mechanical hard drive in the iMac for a Solid State Drive (SSD) is one of the best ways to make it go faster.

The quickest and easiest is to add RAM especially if you have a 27” model. It’ll save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars to do it yourself instead of buying one with more memory from Apple. So if you haven’t done so, check out my other video and add more memory first.
